My husband takes 60mg of Vyvance in the morning which seems to be working. The problem is it wears off before he gets home which means there is really not benefit of any medication in the evening. He's taken aderall and it makes him worse. Will taking a higher dosage of Vyvance help or are there other short acting drugs out there which he should talk to his doctor about?

Can he speak to his doctor about taking a second (perhaps smaller) dose in the afternoon or splitting that morning pill in two doses, saving one for the afternoon?
