I don't know what to do! I can NEVER have a chill/calm moment or event with my wife!! She's always tense and bitchy!! What the hell do I do!? We've been married for a year and a half and I'm only 23! I have no idea how to handle her. When we first met she was taking something for it and I had no clue about ADHD! Roller coaster ride for sure!! HELP!?!

Why do you think she has ADHD?

Your wife may have ADHD, but likely it is something else that is causing that behavior. That isn't ADHD behavior, that is something else.
Always tense and bitchy? Moody? Gets angry easily?
Could be: personality disorder? anxiety disorder? depression? Bi-Polar?

It's possible that she is feeling completely overloaded by marriage. Were you living with her for a long time before marriage? If not then perhaps the stress of being with a partner all the time is tipping her over. Does she get or express a need for downtime or time alone? It can be hard for anyone to adjust to close-up relationships but for someone with ADHD it can be a real struggle because the interacting with people may be extremely hard and she just gets tired. (Sometimes my husband comes home from work and needs to be alone - he once described it as being "all peopled out" and "you have no idea how hard it is to deal with people all the time").

Is she still? How about approaching her doctor and discussing her treatment. If she is experiencing extreme anxiety then her doctor should be made aware of it and can probably help.
